The Silverfrost Shop is a recurring event in Whiteout Survival. It’s essentially a seasonal shop where you can exchange Silver Shells for rare buildings, progression materials, and exclusive cosmetic skins. It’s similar to the Craftsman Store and usually appears a few times a year.

But the big question is: what are the best things to buy? Should you save for the long term, or go for flashy cosmetics?

This guide breaks down exactly how the event works, how many shells you can get, and what’s worth your investment—whether you’re free-to-play, a low spender, or a big whale.

• The event lasts 5 days.

• You collect Silver Shells by completing daily missions:

  • Daily login

  • Defeating 10 beasts

  • Training troops

  • Optional: purchasing the daily $1 pack

• You can also buy Frosty Wish ($5), which doubles your mission rewards.

How many shells can you get?

• Free-to-play: ~125 shells

• Low spender ($10 total): ~350 shells

• Medium spender (~$55): ~1,000 shells

• Whales: unlimited shells if you buy all packs, including the big $100 bundles

So the more you spend, the more shells you can collect—but the best value per dollar is always from the smaller daily packs.

In terms of value:

• It’s better than regular packs.

• It’s not as good as big seasonal holiday events, which have much higher discounts.

• It’s the only place to get certain permanent buildings, making it a must-do event if you want long-term progression.

So, it’s not the cheapest way to get everything, but it’s essential for certain upgrades that you can’t find anywhere else.

Let’s go through the must-buy items in order of importance.

1️⃣ Ski Resort & Skating Rink – Top Priority

These two buildings are the best investment you can make in the Silverfrost Shop.

• Ski Resort → +15% Training Speed

• Skating Rink → +10% Research Speed

🎯 Why are they so valuable?
They give permanent percentage boosts to two of the most resource-heavy parts of the game: research and troop training. Over time, they save you thousands of speedups, making them a long-term power boost.

2️⃣ Fire Crystals – Long-Term Progression

If you’re pushing towards Fire Crystal 9 or 10, you’ll always need more crystals.

Buying Fire Crystals here:

• Saves you a couple weeks of natural farming.

• Helps low/mid spenders stay slightly ahead of free progression.

For F2P players, this is a decent way to accelerate slow progression, but it won’t make a massive difference overnight.

3️⃣ Charm Designs & Mythril

If you already have lots of Charm Guides, getting Charm Designs will finally let you upgrade them.

Mythril is also slightly cheaper here than in regular packs (about a 20% better deal), so it’s a solid purchase if you already planned on buying it.

4️⃣ Harbor of Hope – Optional, Only for Rally Leads

The Harbor of Hope gives:

• +1% troop health

• +1% troop lethality

It costs ~$55 minimum to unlock, and you can’t get it for free.

✔ Who should buy it?

• Rally leads and big whales who need every extra % of stats.

✘ Who should skip it?

• Medium spenders or power joiners—there are better priorities for your shells.

5️⃣ Skins & Teleports – Purely Cosmetic (and Expensive)

The shop offers:

• Rare city skins with small stat bonuses

• Exclusive teleport effects (+2% lethality)

But they’re very expensive:

• A single city skin costs around $255 minimum

• Teleports are cheaper (~$55 for one), but still luxury items

Buy these only if you love collecting cosmetics or already have everything else maxed.

If you’re patient and F2P:

1️⃣ Event 1 → Buy 3 Skating Rink levels (+2% research)
2️⃣ Event 2 → Buy 3 Ski Resort levels (+3% training)
3️⃣ Event 3 → Back to Skating Rink (+4% total)
4️⃣ Event 4 → Back to Ski Resort (+6% total)

In just 4 events (~8 months), you’ll have permanent boosts that save tons of time and resources—all for free.

✅ Always prioritize small daily packs if you spend—better shells per dollar.
✅ Don’t chase milestone rewards—they’re not worth the extra spending.
✅ If you really want cosmetics, buy them here since they’re rare and won’t appear often.
✅ Don’t buy big packs ($50–$100) unless you’re a whale—their value is worse than smaller packs.
