Lloyd hails from Ostermore, the famed “City of Artisans,” known for its masterful clockmaking traditions. As the only son of a renowned craftsman, he demonstrated exceptional skill from a young age, repairing pocket watches and calibrating clock towers with uncanny precision. His companions in childhood weren’t other children, but a robotic frog and bronze bird—friends of his own design, built to brighten his solitary days.

Life changed when two newcomers arrived: a giant robot named Mr. Tin and a red-haired girl, Edith. Fascinated, Lloyd quickly bonded with them—especially Edith—and their shared curiosity sparked a friendship that grew over the years. Lloyd’s fascination with Mr. Tin’s inner workings only deepened his attachment to the odd but brilliant duo.

But peace didn’t last. The Phaethon forces arrived in Ostermore, capturing both Edith and Mr. Tin. Their aim: to turn Mr. Tin into a prototype for a new war machine. The artisans of Ostermore, though untrained in battle, refused to surrender. Lloyd’s father led a desperate rebellion, and Lloyd himself joined the fight, armed with ingenuity and a burning desire to protect his friends.

Against all odds, they prevailed. Lloyd rescued Mr. Tin just in time, but the cost was high—his father suffered a grave injury, restricting his movement for life. The joy of victory was tempered by sacrifice, but Lloyd never gave up. With each passing day, he worked to improve his father’s exoskeleton, vowing to restore the craftsman who had once built wonders.
