Story
Magnus is one of the few adventurers who can boast—without hesitation—that he once tamed the untamable Beast of the Abyss
with his bare hands, survived an avalanche armed only with three socks and a spoon, and single-handedly drove back an entire
legion with nothing but a pistol and a smile.
Or at least, that's what he claims in his wildly popular autobiographical series, “The Adventures of Magnus the Magnificent,”
said to be “based on true events.” Whether those events happened exactly as told is... open to interpretation. Still, to
countless children across the Tundra, Magnus is more legend than man.
Even so, fellow explorer Bahiti once dryly called Magnus “99% bunk” and described him as an average adventurer with a
superhuman gift for self-promotion. Their rivalry is infamous, peppered with dramatic debates, sarcastic jabs, and at least
one occasion where they actually saved each other’s lives during a crumbling ruin ambush. Sadly, their fragile alliance didn’t
survive Magnus’ return to outlandish claims and Bahiti’s “conspiracy of skepticism.”
Magnus' relentless ambition can be traced back to his parents—ordinary people with extraordinary dreams. They believed
themselves descended from a noble line of legendary explorers and raised Magnus to believe the same. Rather than shying away
from this legacy, Magnus leaned into it with theatrical flair, modeling himself after swashbuckling heroes of old.
To his credit, Magnus is not all talk. He trains tirelessly, dives headfirst into danger, and has the scars—and ego—to prove it.
His tall tales, whether fully true or not, have inspired countless aspiring adventurers across the Tundra, and even his
harshest critics admit: the man knows how to survive.
His extensive and colorful family tree includes a famous ancestor who allegedly circumnavigated the seven seas, uncovered
ancient relics, and explored nearly every corner of the known world—except one. Magnus has made it his personal mission to
complete that unfinished dream.
And so, he’s publicly declared that he will plant his family crest on the very edge of the planet, fulfilling what he calls his
“ancestral birthright.” Flat Earth theories be damned—Magnus has vowed to go wherever destiny (and his fanbase) lead him,
even if it means falling off the map.
Braggart or trailblazer? Charlatan or hero? Magnus doesn’t care. In his mind, history remembers the bold—and if he has to write
that history himself, so be it.
